Broker Read Lunsford ROANOKE, Va., November 29, 2005 -- Roanoke VA – Read Lunsford, an associate broker of Hall Associates in Roanoke, has recently been involved in two major commercial real estate transactions. Lunsford served as local broker for 2F Properties, LLC, working with Mid-Atlantic Realty, Inc. of Gettysburg, PA to secure a 25-year ground lease for Hook-SuperX, which opened for business as a CVS Pharmacy at 7515 Williamson Road in September. That overall transaction totaled $5.5 million. He was the selling agent for Knollwood Place, assisted by Don Moore of the Hall Associates New River Valley office, for Snyder-Hunt Company, LLP of Blacksburg and Richmond. The 22,350-square-foot office building on 1.49 acres at 309 Knollwood Place in Blacksburg was purchased for $2,360,000 by Ramble Associates, LLC of Roanoke. * * * |

1051 Texas Street ROANOKE, Va., November 9, 2005 -- Hall Associates has been chosen to manage the new building at 1051 Texas Street in Salem, Virginia that will house One Beacon Insurance. The facilities management contract will add another 33,000 sq. ft. to the Hall Associates portfolio of managed properties. One Beacon Insurance will have over 170 employees in the facility located across the street from the Salem Civic Center. They are slated to move November 4th from their current facility on 419. * * * |
